Hello, hello world, it’s a while I don’t stay put and write something on my blog, but here I am, and this post is not about Vermeer’s painting called “Girl with a Red Hat” but about me :). Even though I love Vermeer’s masterpieces, my favorite from all “The Girl with a Pearl Earring”, ( just to stay in theme with jewelry :))) mom and dad being jewelry designers), and thankfully sometimes take time to teaches me lot of things including art, I will go the easy way and talk to you about all the crazy beautifully things that happens this days. From Valentine’s Day to the Carnival I really enjoyed each and every moment. So a red hat and a Venetian Carnival mask should be enough to symbolize super cute events in our life. While you all know a lot about Valentine’s Day here I found some interesting things and stories about the significance of the Venetian Masks.

So “The Girl with A Red Hat” is about me just taking a walk in my beautiful city of Florence, taking pictures for my blog and for you. All this now that the weather allow us to enjoy some nice days after long and hard winter. But from now on days are longer and places to visit in my beautiful country are a lot so, who knows, Mother’s Day or Father’s Day could be a good excuse to make a little trip and get to see new places. But let me tell you a secret, on 19th of March mom and dad will celebrate one year of marriage even if they’ve been together for the past 11 years. Decided to get married only last year on Father’s Day. Do you want to see them?
